| Watson-Brumit Roof Replacement |
Sealed proposals will be received by Appalachian State University in the Planning, Design & Construction Conference Room located at 2458 Hwy 105 S, Boone, NC 28607 up to 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of Watson-Brumit Hall Roof Replacement. An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on May 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the App State Planning, Design and Construction Office located at 2458 Hwy105 S. Boone, NC 28607. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. An optional site visit to the project location will follow the meeting. Project Description Work consists of Roof Replacement including removal of existing roof system, flashings, andtrim and replacing with thermoplastic-single ply roof system. Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 PM, local time, on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, in the Planning, Design, and Construction offices of Appalachian State University, 2458 Hwy 105, Boone, NC 28607. Bids will be opened and read at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 at Appalachian State University, Hickory Campus Building, 800 17th St. NW, Hickory, NC 28601. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 PM, local time, on Friday, April 26th, 2024, at the project site, 800 17th St. NW, Hickory, NC 28601, in meeting room 1222. Project Description Project consists of renovating approximately 8400 square feet of the second floor of the Hickory Campus building with selective demolition and new construction of hallways, computer laboratories and general science laboratories and their associated equipment. Work includes wall construction, electrical, HVAC ductwork, selective plumbing, millwork and finishes. Please see attached PDF files for more information. |
