Repair failing building envelope for Rankin Science North. Project includes the installation of through-wall flashing and helical ties, and several other repair methods. Project begins April 2019 and is expected to last through summer.

|Stadium Lot Connector||
This project will create a mainly pedestrian thoroughfare that can have vehicular use when high volume events take place. It will create an additional egress from the Stadium Parking lot to Rivers Street. The proposed path travels from the Stadium Parking lot in between Wey and Newland Hall turning northward to join into the Schaefer Center parking lot/circle area. This will allow use of the traffic signal at Schaefer Center/Rivers Street, and the Peacock Parking Lot. The project will also include a new sidewalk on the north side of the entrance to the Peacock Parking Lot extending to existing sidewalk.

Appalachian State University, in Boone, North Carolina is seeking qualification statements for Building Envelope Engineering services for the Garwood Hall Roof Replacement project, a general contractor delivered project that is scheduled to begin in Summer 2019. The project budget is $1,200,000. Qualification submittals are due by 3pm on November 21, 2018.

|Track, Tennis, Softball Relocation - Appalachian 105||
Appalachian State University is accepting proposals for a Construction Manager at Risk for the Track, Tennis, Softball Relocation until February 1, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Office of Planning, Design & Construction at 438 Academy Street, Boone, NC.
This project will completely relocate the Track, Tennis, and Softball facilities from the main campus to the southern portion of the Appalachian State University 105 Property. A high school was previously located on this property and the new track, tennis and softball facilities will be located in the same area as the former sports fields. The project has an estimated construction budget, including CMR fees, of $11,700,000.

|Stadium End Zone Project||
The $43 million facility will replace the 45-year-old Owens Fieldhouse, which is approximately 34,500 square feet. It will include athletic training, hydrotherapy and locker rooms, and nutrition science research areas, as well as conference and continuing education training space, medical office space, dining facilities, a team store and ticketing office, approximately 1,000 premium seats, and offices for coaches and athletics staff. Additional project requirements will be given to the teams that are short listed and/or selected.

|Wey Hall Interior Renovation||
This project will renovate the third floor and portion of first floor of Wey Hall.

|Stadium Lot Steam & Condensate||
The project consists of selective demolition, trenching, backfill and compaction, and precast manhole installation for 930 linear feet of new high-pressure steam and condensate return installation to Kidd Brewer Stadium, and buildings 100 and 200 of the public/private partnership housing project. It will also provide loop redundancy between the 1965 Stadium Lot steam line and 1972 Justice/Quinn Center steam lines.

|Sanford Hall Comprehensive Renovation||
Complete renovation and modernization of 73,913 GSF Sanford Hall. The renewal project will gut and replace the 50-year-old building’s mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; as well as windows, roofing, fire alarm system, elevator system(s), and IT infrastructure. Total project budget is $18,006,545.

|Peacock Hall & Rankin West Restroom Renovation||
The Rankin Science West portion of the project is slab demolition with unsuitable soil remediation, grout injection, and the addition of new Men’s, Women’s and Family style restrooms in Rankin Science West. The Peacock Hall portion of the project is the renovation of 4 floors of Men’s and Women’s restrooms, two individual restrooms, housekeeping closets and elevator interior cab finishes. The project includes Architectural, MEP/FP, and Structural.
*Green Construction began demolition in January 2019.
